seasons of love

seasons of love

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

a senryu of sorts

"
Beneath soft moonlight

stars whisper our names in love

                                    summertime romance

Cool air chills the night

leaves dance to an autumn breeze

                                     we feel love's embrace

Snowflakes free falling

         white magic blankets the ground

                                     we share winter's warmth

Robins sing spring's  song

           dripping raindrops kiss our lips

                                  and then there is you

I like the way you wrote each season in different colors. Very descriptive, well written, and over all good. I like the picture you added too, it really adds to the poem.

oooh yeah...like how you put all of these together to make a unified poem from senryu and haiku.....

nicely done....definitely felt the shivers, then the warmth...

and spring is a starting over...i felt the love starting over in this...new season, new chance...
