Sealed With A Kiss

Sealed With A Kiss

A Poem by Fran Marie

As darkness decends we shared sweet love
spending spooning hours 'neath warm worn covers
stars in heaven hovered above
As a moon made magic for two lovers
'Alas, comes dawn's daunting light
stealing sky's nightfall so filled with bliss
'twas time we must part, sealed with a kiss

Alas, the cruelness of dawn...seems so much more harsh after a "nightfall so filled with bliss" doesn't it? Some nights you just don't want to end....
