October's Autumn Days

 

 

Strolls in the park
   after dark
         breathing in the
                  brisk, crisp 
                       air of autumn

 

 

Leaves on trees
   blow in
       October's breeze
             ah, 'tis when~
                    autumn is awesome

 

 

Essential elements
   come to heal
           summer's steamy residue
                                repair, renew

 

and validate
          a new season
                       which now is due.

 

 

October speaks with
        autumn's tongue
                  It's a different colored hue.

 

Beyond compare
           autumn's wear, 
               Indeed, a magnificent view.

 

 

She splurges 
        with orange and reds
               she's more subtle
                      with purples and brown.

 

 

and when October combines
        his falling rain
              it's the most beautiful
                                 sight around.

 

 

 

The allure of October's Autumn
          takes my breath away
                     holds me captive
                             but I don't care

 

For I love all October's Autumn Days

Fran, that picture is awesome, the flow of the rhyme is perfect and your words are as gentle as the leaves that fall from those trees, so colorful. I like the format you used in this.

Wow, you can actually feel the breeze on your skin wile reading this.
I really liked the natural imagery, and the picture you chose to match it, but I think that you should have tried to make this a tintzy bit shorter.
