`Ragdoll Puppet`

 I know you're out there
I can feel it in the midnight rain
 a stranger in a raincoat
a face without a name
 
I see you standing on the corner
 from my window late at night
and when I look again
 you disappear into thin air
and fade out of my sight
 
 I feel connected like a puppet on a string
a ragdoll mystery breathing in the wind
 your aura caresses my very being
and once again a dead heart sings
 
I taste your sweet sweet essence
 savoring it in my soul
a strange and eerie presence
 suddenly takes control
  
 I see you in my dreams
we dance and stir the stars
 lovers so it seems
we already are
 
I feel as though I'm waiting
 for you to hear my call
amid a midnight misty rain
 from this puppet ragdoll
that I may know your name.
 
     yes,I know you're out there

Ewww, did I tell you how much these things creep me out? The movies "Magic", "Poltergeist" and "It" kind of finished me for dolls and clowns. Twilight Zone didn't help either. Great read.

lol, thanks KL...I didn't realize it was creepy when I wrote it..it was meant to be kinda a love poem of sorts..but I guess it comes off a bit creepy for some

I'm not a fan of the final line "yes, I know you're out there"...it feels to me as though it breaks the flow of things. The last stanza ends so well it wouldn't miss that line, in my opinion. Other than that I really enjoyed it, I was entertained. It has a creepy feel to it which I enjoyed!
