DARK WOODS

Haiku Poem Collaboration by Fran Marie and Sean M. Addams

 

A blood moon shouts to

the beast within~ rise~ rise up!

werewolf kills again

 

Stalking takes control

prowling nature's rough terrain

murder in dark woods

 

Blood sprays midnight air

screams pierce the darkened night

bloodfest bleeds off fangs

 

Hairy beast is lurking

angry howls echo off trees

through the cursed dark woods

I like the myth of the werewolf. Always a scary tale to written. I like the feel and emotion in the words. Those dark woods can bring out the monsters and demons. A excellent poem.
