Evolve

I closed my eyes.
I listened.
I heard.
I accept.
I explained.
I was hated.
So I sat there in silence.

I tasted with my heart.
I felt.
I was hurt.
I accept.
I left.

I listened with my head.
I saw it.
I made peace.
I conquered.
I changed.

I watched with my soul.
I ripped it.
I cried.
I screamed.
I calmed.

I don’t fall apart.
I accept.
I breathe.
I change.
I evolve.

And slowly, I become a better me.

Author's Note

Someone once asked me to be see-through, well a few somebodies actually. They asked why I seem to just take what comes to me in an unbothered stride. This my how, my why, my thinking every time I'm hurt. It's just easier to think that you're evolving every time something happens.

This is very good, I like how simply you've summed up the concept of self improvement and adapting to the world, to our environment, to our lives etc. we go through these phases and we grow and evolve.
