Blurb

A short poem about the inverse of wishing someone could join you.

I have often passed by beautiful scenes, it is true,
And wished others I have loved were here with me to enjoy them.

Today, however, the sentiment was entirely different.
I passed beauty, and instead wished I was by your side.

I want to be the drug of your life
To inject myself into your scene.

I think of you, of what you’re doing,
And I want to be there with you.

I realized that nothing I can do on my own-
Could surpass what we could do together.

Author's Note

I know the title isn't any good at all - umm... this poem was concieved while walking down a beach in South Carolina. :P

its one of those wish you were here kinda deals... i guess when your lonely and bored.... I can relate to you on tons of levels with this poem... very nice work i enjoyed it!!
