It has been awhile

It has been awhile

Now we're back at it again

Trying new things and doing more things

Trying to get busy, again

As once, we were courageous and doing things we love

Now, it's a lot, and we're having fun, again

This was the life we knew
And now, it's the one we chase anew

To be busy and go beyond just pursuing, again

When things got rough, it was tough but bearable

Now things are still rough but it's still doable, again

Through the highs and lows, through thick and thin

We manage through it all, again

And yet again, we are still here, thankful and fighting

Through the fun times and sad times

We'll do this until we say

"It has been awhile"

Life is just living from day to day, facing the struggles and heartaches along the way but remembering and clinging to the good times with all out hearts.
