Who can relate?

Who can relate?

A Poem by SELF

With memories locked in screens and clouds,
my memory lies clouded with keen instincts
that fail to put the screen away and have my
way with destiny.

Regardless, I say yes to life.
Yes! I say yes even though ill systems
wrick havoc in the body's system
stealing one's peace, leaving them
vulnerable to the whisperings of the so-called snake
in the long forgotten garden of Eden.

But still I say yes!
I say yes
not because life has not thrown me
into pitfalls that makes one's head fall into misery
but because the darkest of nights always hold the hand
of the brightest morning.

Hello! I’ve been reading your work and found the emotional rhythm incredibly natural. Some scenes felt almost designed for visual storytelling.
I’m a professional comic/webtoon artist working on commission, and I’d love to connect if you’re curious about a visual take.
