Just RememberA Poem by Gaia OctaviaFor Edward
I remember your eyes:
filled with the pain of your story, the acceptance of mine, and the moon- mirrored in your pupils. We sat under a starry sky on that chilly night, overlooking the city while we bared our souls. And we were, each, enough. That intoxicating night bound us like sand and glue, twisting my heart into the shape of a painful bloom. That, I remember. I'll always remember. Because, though you are now gone- only wisps of memory and the warmth in my smile- you are still there with me. Each and every time- in view of the city, under each star in the sky, and in the chill of night- when I tell the moon to remember. Just remember. © 2025 Gaia OctaviaReviews
