Gone

Gone

A Poem by Douglas Levi Gribbins

I see my life go by, I want it to be gone
I see my future, I just want it to be gone
Maybe then I could walk around and not have to be attacked
Maybe then he could be satisfied knowing I'm gone and not coming back

I see my memories, I just want them to be smashed
I hear my sweethearts voice, I want her to be dead
Perhaps then I could lead my own life, knowing there's nothing else he can take
If I try hard enough, maybe I can kill his latest mistake.

I see my mind inside my head and I want it to be gone
I see my life force and I want it to be gone
As I claw my head I dread the more there is to come
Perhaps soon I'll learn how to make all of me completely gone.

Honey, God does not make JUNK. You have to grab yourself by the boot straps and finish school. Take subjects that will help you to get a job and learn to take care of you and those you love. God loves you. Please trust Him, we will be praying for you and your family. Valentine

Life is tough. You have to be tougher. Sometime it feels as though it's not worth it. But I believe you can make it worthwhile.
"I dread the more there is to come" I can relate to this line a lot. Looking ahead and seeing nothing but blackness. I've come this far and survived though. Expect nothing but never give up hope. Great work. Keep smiling. :)
