Xavier's Symphony

Xavier's Symphony

A Poem by Douglas Levi Gribbins
"

Been awhile, has it not?

"
Silent Dreams, Silent Screams
The little boy always pondered about what it means
Pounding ears, Drowning in tears.
He never got a chance to develop fears
Deep Inside, his Horrid mind
All he could hear was morbid cries.
He wanted silence, so he turned to violence
Darkness was his only alliance.
1 2 3, You can't see
All you may do now is try to scream.

Dark tale delivered with rhythm. You have talent for words.

Our minds are alike.

It scares me. It really does.

How well it tells the dark dark tale, while also being in a remarkable rhyming scheme. Brief nice work. Something after long.

You have said a lot in the short poetry. Create bad place and dangerous situation. I like the flow of the thoughts leading to the very good ending. Sometime all we do is scream. Thank you Douglas for sharing the excellent poetry.
