Dear God

Dear God

A Poem by Gaurav
"

A prayer

"
Dear God,
There never was a universe
in truth or in illusion,
when it was all You
why we remained aloof?
Grief-stricken hearts of children
in loss of affection, Dear God
one of your traits die
when they cry in pain.
I saw birds falling on ground
and petals' color merging in dust,
when a man stood up against Bad
i saw people taking his blood out,
The creation of You is You
and they kill us
what then die is You,
don't mourn to see this all
do something
do something!!!

I've come to realize that God never stops bad things from happening, due to the free will He gave us, and thus will even let us use to do harm with. However He will help heal any who have been hurt. Often times we blame him for things that happen to us or other people, but we forget that we live in a world that is mortal, and inevitably will face situations that have many flaws and imperfections.

I also have found that we as humans often ask for help without realizing what we are asking for. We ask a God who knows all, to help us and He does, but we have a set way that we believe we should be helped, and a certain time frame that we believe we should be helped in. This is also not the case. God knows when to move in, when to remain still. We expect Him to help us the way we think he should but usually He sees the bigger picture. So we tend to get upset when He doesn't seem to be helping us, however usually He is, just simply not the way we think.

How tactfully you adress to God at the same time you adress to human beings.
What are we doing? We are killing a person, very creation of God.
It is indeed thought provoking & thought pondering.

So powerfully written. Your faith and love for God really shine in this one. What a strong, inspiring piece. I am not particularly religious but it is impossible to deny your faith and belief- it just sings out of this!

It's a call to creator to show us the path. Thankyou for your kind words. Appreciate it.
Sometimes it seems like God isn't hearing our pleas when all the suffering in the world is in our faces day after day. Surely he/she must be able to do something about it. The only thing I can think of that would be a reason that he/she doesn't is free will...and God can't intervene in his children's life. Still, there must be a point at which the evil reaches such a height that help is the only answer. I agree with your poem and wish for help as well.

Sometimes praying to God for help gets frantic, and we sometimes get testy when that help doesn't arrive; we then shout at God to get his attention. This is normal. We just have to remember that when help from God DOES arrive we don't forget to thank Him just as emphatically. A nice flow to this write and very well conceived and written. take care...dan

This is an awesome piece of art, Gaurav!
We all are connected as our souls are part and parcel of the Creator (supreme soul) himself.
We humans sunk into our false ego, so as to never realize this or the relevance of universal eternal bond that our elements share.

Beautiful!
