"Rooted in us, fear is the new hidden identity"

Originated in the core of eternity

love was never enough..

where free soul emancipated us

attachments gave rise to fear.

Seems infinite universe

brings infinite souls..

the one that hides in the nook

is afraid soul.

Seems God left us

to live under nature..

darkness though killed the

vastness of fearless mind.

Seems innumerable truths were

the origin of mankind..

a lie to conceal crime

forced us to adapt to fear.

Seems we died happily

when desires didn't ruin lives..

but greed raped the happiness

and sadness married the mighty fear.

Seems so strong was our fear

that we were afraid to love..

rooted in core of eternity now

fear is all pervading

You are right.Fear leads to sadness.
We should be afraid of things like doing crime, God and we all have fear that our loved ones get hurt.But above all try to overcome fear and have trust I people. It's difficult to do than said.Your poem though it describes negative aspect is really beautiful. You choose words very well.

God has not left us, although I can definitely understand why people think that and feel that way. Unfortunately, it seems that the catch with God giving us free will is that with it we also have fear. We do not always good decisions for ourselves and that makes us afraid. We also fear the self destructive force that might be behind some of our decisions. Fear lurks behind in the shadows like a serial killer in a horror movie. What do we really fear the most? Maybe it's the destructive force in ourselves. I don't know. Your writing is so insightful and thought provoking.

Ohh that's such a different take on fear. Of course, free will can give rise to fear in the same way as it does to happiness and other emotions. But i dont know its so complicated. What comes first - fear or desire?

I want to say desire most often comes first, because of people having a desire and having the fear of not being able to meet or attain that desire. Also, trying to meet a desire can cause us to do evil things in order achieve that desire, which can also be our downfall.

Yes agreed. Most often the desire is the first step. When we get what we desire, we fear to lose that thing/person. Humans, however, will find it difficult to function without desire. If it could happen, all negative attributes would fade away.
