So all things pointed to spring, the buds , the colors, BUT, the next day it snowed so are the blossoms to blame? Or spring? Who’s is lying here?.
Nice piece Gee… don’t worry we had a cold snap and all the daffodils wilted, so sad….hope the straighten up soon😊

Ah, that was funny. I wasn't expecting the ending, though the title should have warned me. Such nice floral communications only to have winter come back. Here in the Pacific NW, I was on a walk the other day and saw Trillium leaves, promising that the pretty, white, three-petaled blossoms will soon appear. I like your "about me" comment that your pieces are for those without code breaking skills.

I think my poetry must be some of the simplest on here as I write what I like to read, simple, easily understood verse, pose etc.
Love the title and how you worked it around nature.
I love it and can relate. I got pelted with ice and snow ❄️ on the way home Thursday night and on April fool's woke to a heavy frost and blackice.
That old Winter just doesn't want to lay low.
Beautiful imagery Gee. I enjoyed this poem thoroughly and will make sure to read through your catalogue of work.
