Looking into the past

Reminiscing on those days
I see what a time it was
What a great time it was
A time of innocence
Worth the time to reminisce
But what is this?
I have a photograph
Preserve you, just a memory
It seems that’s all that’s left for me
The days are over
The time is up
I have no purpose
I’m all washed up
No blame I pin on you
But rather on I
The biggest fool
I extend my apologies
For being that way
I just don’t know
