Mr. Davenport

A short story about my experience with Mr. Davenport.

 “Well, hello there Mr. Davenport. I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” I say aloud to him but I know he doesn’t hear me. Those Green eyes always draw me in. 

He begins to enlighten me with another one of his rants. He begins to speak about the Four Pillars of the Heterosexual Male Psyche. I will listen to him rant on because it humors me.

I enjoy the way his nostrils flare up when he shouts. His rant ends and I take one last look at him and I turn off the television. Until the next episode Mr. Davenport.
