He

He

A Poem by Veronica Ostling-Hirschberg

She had climbed vast chasms without him before
that now she saw as impossible when he's gone

weeping for every moment lost she
fears when the time comes and he
vanishes before her eyes
they both know time runs short and
that it could end at anywhere but
they keep up the hope that maybe

they'll be some of the lucky two who
make it to old age who have shared
a lifetime with each other

But she knows that the world isn't a nice place
he could be snatched from her in the night
or on his way back with a dozen roses for her to find
only after the call has been made
Laying in a stilled fright she thinks endlessly
"What will I do if he's gone?"

I cannot imagine I could do a thing.

Hi,
People sustain when died and seating over there to offer petals of flowers dropped from the bouque and in the grave yard they try to mate because it is there place..////

Touching
It is her who will be leaving after over 60 years
She sleeps now in broad daylight
No pain killers has she taken today

Yet she sleeps pain free
There will come a time
when she will slip painlessly away
Let us hope she does go pain lessly

It will be a great loss
She has been by my side so long
She will leave behind
So much -So many
Works of art - but not the same

God take her painlessly PLEASE

I love your word choice! It flows very smoothly and each line stands out. If I could suggest something, if this poem is personal, use specific examples. It could make for a stronger poem.

Overall, BEAUTIFUL :)
