15 minutes of fameA Poem by Ghosty WriterThey crave the spotlight’s blazing fire, A fleeting moment, a wild desire. To be seen, to be heard, to carve their name, No matter the cost, no matter the shame. They tell their stories, tall and thin, Woven with lies, let the truth cave in. Chasing shadows, chasing fame’s glow, In the pursuit, they lose what they know. For 15 minutes, they'll sell their soul, Trade authenticity for a fleeting goal. A name in lights, a fleeting claim, Lost in the rush, forgot their name. So beware the hunger, the thirst for fame, For it’s a game that’s never tame. In the end, it’s just a fleeting flame- Fifteen minutes, then gone in shame.
