EXHAUSTED BUT NOT DEVASTATED

It was a very long day
The sun was so lovely
It's blazing my way
Though it's seems so heavy
But it was fine and very okay

Running here and there
Chasing the time so dear
The path was so clear
There's nothing to fear
The energy is getting better

But the sun has to set
The moon begins to fret
The body said, "Quit!"
The mind whispers to keep quiet
The heart replies "Don't think about it!"

Now the chair is heavy
Carrying my whole body
The feet are so uneasy
Looking for a perfect place to lay
Oh I feel so sleepy

Exhausted but not devastated
Tired but not depressed
The body demands to be rested
To be recharged is what it needed
So let me lay now myself on bed
