The DreamerA Poem by Himaya KaWake up before the dream turns to a nightmareTHE DREAMER It wasn't the choice It's not really needed It wasn't the plan No, it wasn't a fight!
One day it came It was spoken A hand paved the way It just happened
As I walked The gates were opened As I entered A warm welcome All favors were there No pleading was made For in my mind I don't care If it's His then it will be
A dream was planted It was watered so well It grew and it flourished But how come it withered?
Is it still alive? Can it be restored? Should it come to fruition? Or better to cast it to fire?
As the dream turned to gray The dreamer come to faint Oh, sower hurry up! Come and do your part!
Rescue the fallen green Hold the perishing bud If there's a need to prune Just don't include the root
Oh dreamer please wake up! Before the dream turns to a nightmare Where is the seed planter? Please wake the dreamer up! © 2020 Himaya Ka |
