To Him You Should Long

No more self-gratification

TO HIM YOU SHOULD LONG

Remember who you are
Though you're worthless
Bought with a price
Though you're a slave

Slave to sin
Bound to hell
But Grace came to rescue
Mercy ran to pursue

Free from all bondage
But not the owner of yourself
To the Redeemer you belong
To Him you should long

Long to serve Him
Long to praise Him
Long to obey Him
Long to please Him

To please Him is to say "No!"
Say no to your flesh
No to your old ways
No to all wickedness

Stop doing your own thing
Start focusing on what really matters
Everything is about what God wants
So do all things for Him alone

No more selfish ambition
No more self-gratificatiion
No more compromising
No more willful disobeying
