Wrote this one day after a fight with my mom

Red eyes from crying

A black soul from dying

Slowly on the inside

Slowly on the outside

Red lines of pain

Of weakness and shame

Hidden on the inside

Hidden on the outside

An artificial smile

It's been on for a while

Broken on the inside

Joking on the outside
