Backwards/ForwardA Poem by Gio S.P.A poem about regret and acceptance.
When we were kids, you were always
picked on for being "too skinny" And I'd throw my lunch at those idiots I'd starve because I loved you I didn't know what love was at the time but whenever my mom turned on mynight light, I'd turn it off because the thought of you burned bright behind closed eyes. And maybe this heart stumbles backwards when your name is spoken,And maybe I should have been more forward.
