Dare to flyA Poem by Glen WeimannI stood by the famous Bungee jump bridge just outside Queenstown NZ and watched several people pause before jumping. Rather them than me, but hats off to them!Do you dare to fly? The ledge is yours No-one will urge you or demand Do you see the sky? The opened doors Wait if you need - it's in your hands If you're looking back From where you came No-one will doubt you or deny Then you hear the wind Call out your name The you-to-be - your wheres and whys Your life is out there; If you fly Then You are falling And all of us pray As you let out all those fears they can hear a world away The line takes your weight And you smile Not from your face, but deep somewhere The wind knows you now You rest a while Now take your place; you are prepared Yes take your place You are prepared © 2025 Glen WeimannReviews
