I have no idea where I was going with this or if I got there. Started long time ago, finished 11-3-12

Minds running the Daytona

Around and around it goes

Stuck in overdrive

 

A gumball in a gumball machine

Spinning and Spinning

Caught in the loop

 

The water in a toilet bowl

Whirling and whirling

Sucked down

 

Like a boat wrecked at sea

Caught in a whirlpool

Meeting its end in the depths

 

Non-knowing of what could have been

Only seeing the end

Resting amongst the rocks and shattered ruins

This is great! It's a good poem for reality. It teaches a good lesson. When things are turning into a chaotic mess, we can know that there is still hope. We become dizzy and blinded in the spin of life, but you never know where you''ll end up when the world becomes still.
