There is one whom I love

Who has since ran away

I tried so hard to get her to stay

Now all I can do is pray

 

You know of my pain, you know of me fear

You know that I just want her near

 

Father it hurts so much

Cause I want to feel her touch

To know she is close

And tell her what I love most

But the one whom I love

Has since ran away

Running far and fast

But I pray that doesn't last

You know of my pain, you know of me fear

You know that I just want her near

To see her smiling face once again

because she was a perfect ten

Not merely because she is beautiful

But because when with her I'm so joyful

It matters in your heart

More than you know. But perhaps that is dragging my heart to a place it shouldn't be. I do not know, all I do know is by continuing to trust I will eventually be brought to where I need to be.
