'I Am' Poem

This is a "I Am" poem, if you google search "I am poem" it will show you how to write one. 7-17-11 Another poem I think isn't that great.

I am selfish and weak
I wonder how long it will take me to surrender
I hear His still small voice
I see the potential for change
I want to grow to be someone better
I am selfish and weak

I pretend I know everything
I feel as tho I'm a burden and hopeless
I touch only brushing the outer shell of the problem
I worry that I will never fully grow
I cry out to God for help, pleading for assistance
I am selfish and weak

I understand God is sovereign
I say that He loves me
I dream of things being better
I try to fight for His kingdom
I hope that what I do helps people
I am selfish and weak

Once again, it is not as bad as you think and say it is!
Could work be done to make it better? Sure, as with every other poem ever written.
Is it a good poem? YES.
