God of mercy and grace, hear me
I'm crying out oh Lord
crying out for your intervention.
      Crying out!

How long must I feel like this
how long must I be so foolish
Letting Satan overwhelm me
how long must I be crippled
crippled by my fears and failures
       How long?

yes I know perfect love casts out fear
yet I cant get past it
stuck behind this non-penetrable glass wall
capable of seeing the beauty
yet incapable of grasping it
      Perfect love!

What must I do
where is the door
what inside is not clicking
why does it escape me
why can I not correct the failure
       Failure.

I see, but do not grasp
I hear, but do not retain
my eyes are blind, my ears are deaf
my mouth is mute and my hands do not move
Apart for against my will
my mind is clouded by rational irrationality
       Clouded

I'm Crying out oh Lord!
Begging Father!
Let no evil befall me
May my mind be on you
Prevent the pain from overwhelming
       Crying out! :'(
