Twilight Breezes (Rewrite)A Poem by Amanda BokovoyA rewrite of an older poem.
Though the day is long past,
the sunlight tarries still. Dull orange and copper tones fade into dusk. Dark waves bathe the shore as ivory foam swirls gently, watched by a lambent moon and diamond stars. Jade leaves sway quietly, brushed by twilight breezes bearing the fragrance of vibrant blossoms. Reluctant strides carry me across endless sand. Dreams saturate my mind" Eden restored. © 2017 Amanda Bokovoy |
