In My DreamsA Poem by Gomer LePoetA southern bell that rings my chimesIn my Dreams
I want to hold your hand on a walk thru the park hold you close on the porch after dark I smile when I smell your perfume every time that you walk by
yes in my dreams you are always there making sure that I know you care your tender kisses taste like sugar so soft they make me cry
the way you walk you swing your hips your country accent rolls off your lips with a hint of the old south your ruffled frilly dress sitting on the veranda
I look into your eyes and fade away so in love with you for one more day it's not your name but it seems in my dreams I should call you Miranda
