I cannot think why you would

come to me

other than in my dreams

thinking of all the time

that has passed by now

and yet it still seems

you must have been so lonely

searching for something

to fill that empty spot

someone who would hear you

and whisper words of love

give you everything they've got

to let you know you were important

you mattered in their life

you mattered in their heart

you really were that important

and you shared your love

so they loved you from the start

I guess that is the reason

you loved them too

for more than just a season

your treasures shared

with them forver

that is 1 very good reason
