my mind was on some things left behind

when I saw you I nearly lost my mind

a tall good looking sexy blonde

with legs that went all the way to the ground

I tried to say hello to you

but my mouth wasn't connected I found

I was hit by a fast moving train

my heart left my body to float in the sky

if only I could have said what was in my brain

I turned around and watched you walk away

you glanced back over your shoulder

you gave me a wink and a smile

I was thinking boy I wish I could hold her

I started running just as fast as I can

to catch up and ask you your name

I wanted to know if I could take you out

Good work again here, Monsieur. It does work well as a country song, indeed, but it could also work on other levels, too, and in other genres of music. But then, thinking about it, I guess that could be true of a lot of country music..!
This is written and imagined really nicely and you can picture the situation very easily - in fact, so many times in my life have I experienced such a situation that you'd think by now I'd have a rehearsed speech ready... But then that fast-moving train hits me again.... You can never learn...and that's love..!!
