Never Judge by the CoverA Story by Gomer LePoetthings aren't always as they seemNever judge by the Cover
I pat my head and rub my belly my ears are big and my feet are smelly got warts on my nose and knobby knees I belch a lot and I cut the cheese
but I can recite verbatum war and peace tell you where to find Jason's golden fleece calculate the distance to the Martian moons and play Tchaikovsky on wooden spoons
got two left feet and an artificial eye in 10 seconds flat I can devour a pie my butt is so fat I take up two seats I eat powdered sugar on pickled beets
but I can do a marathon all 26 miles my comedy routine will bring you smiles my fastball has been clocked at 95 I will do anything to keep you alive
sometimes the words just will not come believe me it's not because I am dumb I have this disorder that freezes my brain and sometimes I walk with a wooden cain
but play for me a song on your magic box a Mozart minuette or one that rocks I will play it back yes anything you want sometimes I'm referred to as a savant
so my theme here is to take a deeper look just cause I look like I come from a comic book and I may never be a movie stars lover but please don't ever judge me by the cover
