StrandedA Poem by Gomer LePoetThe storm had wiped out the roadStranded
the weather has changed and it's changed for the worse the roads can no longer be traveled at least not this road I am stranded all alone here beaten waiting for the hearse no longer do I have the strength to carry this heavy load
I should have listened to the forecast given so very clear do not go there it's way to dangerous you may not return my eyes and ears were mystified and showed no concern or fear lost in a secret trance from magic herbs I could not feel the burn
Nirvana was just a dream not a place where I could stay though it seemed so possible yes even doable at times gardens where the flower grew have sadly withered away and all of the silly words meant to make loves rhymes
and now it's clear there will not be any last second save so I close my eyes and slip off to sleep waiting for relief the fair princess the one I want who made me her slave stolen heart stolen soul and is now sharing in the grief
I never really ever thought that I would go this way but then I never new that I could be so enchanted but I wouldn't change a single thing at least not today the road once so wonderful now I'm completely stranded
