Love is a beautiful thing it makes the world go around

or it can make you crazy and drive you to the edge

it can make your heart sing a sweet happy tune

or make you act and look just like a total child

your day is spent skipping through a meadow of flowers

or you can just sit and cry for what seems like forever

sometimes so very very warm like an Oklahoma summer

and then it can leave you cold like a New England's winter

soft as a gentle refreshing autumn shower

or harsh as midwestern summer's raging storm

there never seems to be an inbetween of this magic power

always an unstoppable force we cannot live without

It's funny, this seems to be simultaneously refined and simple, depending on the lines you look at. I like the contrasting colors; they enhance the contrast of the words. I wasn't expecting this to be about love from the title, but you made a strong comparison. For me, your words evoke some powerful, beautifully violent images.
