The PretenderA Poem by Gomer LePoetfooling no oneThe
Pretender she thinks she's cool calm and so under control she thinks she knows it all everything about your soul she's got it all figured out she gets signs from the sender but the poor poor girl to me is just a pretender
so wise so smart but yet again so dam confused she talks about others feels she's sometimes being used she holds to her innocence growls at being accused her special ways of kindness feels she is being abused
she doesn't want attention at least that's what she claims she is so much different not like those other dames yet a sexy snap can be found in all her picture frames sharing her words of softness with boys of different names
so you see she really isn't that much different at all we think we can be special our marquee on the wall having someone tell us that at every port of call no need here for a pretender no need here at all
