Have you seen Oliver Twist?

Some called him Ollie but he preferred Oliver

played some football with Billy Joe Toliver

when he scored a touchdown he would raise his fist

but it was nothing at all until you saw him twist

he was stuck in the 60's that's what some would say

even though his hair was showing a touch of grey

getting kind of chubby now just like the Checker

he can shake his hips and swallow a double-decker

you could find him nightly at the Peppermint Lounge

if he was short on money then he would scrounge

to enter the contest it would cost him 20 bucks

he knew he could win saying his competition sucks

the grand prize would net him a 500 dollar bill

he practiced every day at the studio on Blueberry Hill

he could still do the splits without pulling a muscle

warming up back stage doing the Charleston Hustle

one by one his younger charges fell to the side

they were dancin their legs off until they cried

when all was said and done from out of the mist

the spotlight shone the winner it was Oliver Twist

This was an awesome twist, David. lol
Another fun one to enjoy, now I feel like to doing the twist. Dont think I know how to do the Charelston Hustle, maybe you could teach me. Being Im too young to know or remember that one. lol ;)
