Rod and the Faces traveling to far distant places

putting words together to paint a story

particles like gravy thick and wavy

the universe in all it's glory

Isaac's calculus design motions of objects so devine

particle physics and general relativity

elementary to say this and that way

genius mind of creativity

so why the strings and all those confusing things

makes no sense to most of us pedestrians

stretching guitar wires burning fires

as the notes sing out math equations

bosons transmitting force like the fermions of course

and tell me just how does all of this matter

nature's perfect view looks different to you

chaos in patterns like pancake batter

I must admit that I struggle myself to understand it

man will always struggle to seek the devine

this beauty we see inside you and me

the creator's plan a mystery so fine
