I Need to hear you say I Love You

tossed to the wayside

I need to hear you say I love you

these were the words that you said to me

the words were not hard for me to say

because I have said them to you quite frequently

but that's now old news from yesterday

now you play the game of hide and seek

you come to me only when you need my words

you play the innocent tortured like a tradgedy of Greek

and fling me away like a game of Angry Birds

I don't know why you seem to think I have no heart

that you can toss me away with so little concern

you treat me now like an old useless used part

thanks for the memory of I'll teach you to learn

for such a loving person that you say you are

I am amazed at just how cold you can be

oh you can say sweet words of your burning desire

but to someone else and not to me

so I hope you feel better now that I've played your fool

I guess you've done all the damage you can do

heck you might even pass a note like back in school

when you need to hear someone say I love you

Funny how some words can burn the mind and soul. Life allow us hope and wish for things we desire and can be given to us. I like the ending.
