my tears are falling like frozen rain

my heart feels the cold it has spun

I call out my friend, my friend

please forgive this broken fool

I say I understand the plight

but yet I yell out selfish words

and now I live with my own doubts

The poem is short yet saturated in sadness of a lost friend... lost to selfish words as you so eloquently place it.

I enjoyed the type of tone you portray; it offers a sort of shouting to the world of how repulsed you are by your betrayal of them. My friends, my friend... as frozen tears of rain run down my face.

This was a splendid write; the font you chose, the colors represent feeling... just gorgeous. I am intrigued with your writing and will be back for another dose, soon.

I got this picture of someone sitting there crying with the tears running down their face, and you know after you have cried a while and they dry and you can feel the dryness on your face where they had ran down? That is what I see and feel. This was and is a very sad and emotional poem. Very heartfelt, kinda feel this way myself. Im sure your friend has forgiven you, if they are a true friend. If not I forgive you
