stop this world I need to get off

everything is going too fast and crazy

my head is spinning in a constant circle

staring into space plucking petals from a daisy

into the darkness of the night no one is knowing

it's great to be efficient but where does it end

just where is it we think we are going

and what is all this hurry about

take a moment breathe the air

tell someone just how much you care

listen to a bird sing a happy carefree song

it only takes a simple right to correct a wrong

the average person doesn't really even give a crap

about the experts who think they know it all

the Wall Street junkies and banker dudes

they scurry onward to their next fall
