Inevitable

I think it is partially due to the drugs I take that have caused my irrational behavior over the past 10 years. not an excuse, but a reason.

it was certain to happen

it was unavoidable

it was inescapable

it was ineluctable

the magic words

though of honest intent

were spoken

that would light the fuse

that would fog the brain

that would loose the tongue

that would create the doom

of my imperfect world

no words can now reclaim

yes it is a shame

but I'm to blame

it was inevitable
