Mission Impossible

Mission Impossible

A Poem by Gomer LePoet
"

should you accept this mission the Secretary will disavow any knowledge

"

Mission Impossible

the words have cut so deeply

the receiver so understandably pissed

has this become an impossible mission

do you now disavow that I still exist

like the recording of the cause

where the goal was so instructed

is it to late for this Mr Phelps

have I finally self destructed

it seems that way now

I've been told have a good life

isn't that what is said out of respect

sent off on your own marching to drum and fife

so the agents have parted

no repairs no huggin or kissin

the end of this chapter

an impossible mission

I like this use of words too. Some mission can seem impossible and usually are. Great way to use words and create a good tale. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.
