my option has been picked up - Yeah!

good news from the front has arrived

somehow I got lucky and survived

it seems my option was reinstated

forgiveness for the mess I created

I know that I am on a short leash

my behavior controlled capisce

for now I will sit on the end of the bench

sacre bleu I can practice my broken French

thank the gods of mercy I sing

hearing the words mea culpa ring

the burning at the stake somehow stalled

my dearest friend finally called

no more disrespect will be accepted

for now I am in a time out not rejected

stricter rules have now been installed

good news my release was recalled

awww, I love that lil puppy dog pic. He looks like he did somethng wrong and he knows it, but he is so sorry. I can also actually relate a little to this one.
Of not knowing whether staying or going. Life and love can be so confusing sometimes. Another wonderful poem Gomer, now go practice that French..lol
