Another older piece written in 2002.

I look up from a lonely road I've traveled on thus far,

I wonder why I'm crawling here and where and how you are,

I wonder if you feel the same when you look into the sky,

If moonlight makes you blush and think and wonder how am I?

Do you feel the pain I feel inside when I reach to hold your hand,
 
And instead of finding your face at last I find another man,

Do you wonder what we'll say at last when we finally do meet,

Will we walk on moonlit ocean shores with sand beneath our feet?

Will you hold me then and kiss me soft and remind me I am yours,

Will our feet sweep out from under us to rush to distant shores?
