Playing Pretend

Playing Pretend

A Poem by Gray Ive

Even though her muscles ache
And her bones threatened to break

She always said ‘i’m fine’ and held back the tear
Her pain wasn’t something she wanted to share

So with a shining smile she hides her hell
But sometimes wonders, if you’re playing pretend as well

About
I was born a poet, even when I didn't know it. I recently started writing poems I can share, but I want to share them with people who'd appreciate them, that's why I'm here more..
