Reminder

I stare off into space
Hearing the voices in my head race
Staring at it blankly in the face
Going over it at a slow and steady pace

Always feeling like it will never end
Wondering if my heart will ever mend
Burried beneath my skin,
concealed,
But forever trapped within

Sadness pours over my eyes
The pain that's inside me cries
Holding back the weight of the lies
Seeing the truth my mind denies

Trust in time and you will see
Hope will set you free
Releasing all that is in me,
Draining out the misery
