War in Heaven

"Simplified version of the war in heaven"

One angel swept across the universe of old...
Sacred wings of sculpted gold.
Beauty far surpassed any known...
the goal to make heaven his very own.

Bands of rainbows glimmered from gems...
which a third of the angels gave to him.
He smiled as his wings thrashed toward the sky...
taking him to the father most high.

He laughed with a thunder, all angels did wake...
he faced his own maker then pulled up all stakes.
Without any words, our father just knew...
his most beautiful angel was to break all the rules.

He made him beautiful, most intelligent too...
and God being God, he planned this one through.
He smiled at his creation, then took a bow...
"Go ahead Lucifer, it's started now."

Lucifer plunged into a battle of war...
the angels fought with their fiery swords.
The third of the angels which fought with him...
turned from their maker, the war would not end.

Through Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel...
many other archangels fought as well.
The heavens lit up as a rising sun...
God knew his will, would be done.

As the warrior angles cast Lucifer out...
the earth awaited as if formed for this bout.
The third who fought by Lucifer's side...
also fell from their glory with pride.

Grounded they were, never to leave...
Only in spirit, they couldn't even breathe.
Lucifer devises an ingenious plan...
and this my friend is the beginning of man.

The book sound very good. I agree with the gift of man to mess the Angels plan. We know you can't tame a wild beast from the forest. Can man walk together in peace and harmony? Is the free-will too strong and the human race is in a race for goals of using and abusing till one day. Nothing will be left? Thank you for the poem. The book will be amazing.
