The SuicideA Poem by xXxDevil_KittenxXxThe waves crash over the shore The shells -like my life- cracking under my feet The gulls screetch overhead The dark sky gloomy The sun hiding from my suicidal self A lone wolf howling from deep in the woods A fitting background for the scene of my death My body heavy with despair I sink to my knees My hand fumbling to find the poison tipped dagger I pull it out of its sheath The cool blade slashes the skin of my wrist twice to make a criss cross The veins and arteries severed The poison slowly spreads My lifes' blood drips onto the awaiting sand I do the same to the other wrist A pool of blood forms on the red ground I lie back A smile playing on my lips as I feel my life slip away... © 2011 xXxDevil_KittenxXxReviews
